These are pictures of La Honda & Kings Mt. Vol. Firefighters training at the Menlo Park US&R site. The specialized equipment they are using was purchased through community donations and grants. They are training on the breaching, breaking and shoring of collapsed structures. This is part of our Technical Rescue program of which La Honda Fire hosts the only such resource on the Coastside.
